Women's Hats

A number of hat styles were popular during the 1940s, many of which evolved from the 1930s fashions. Head scarves were also quite fashionable during the 1940s.

The small, tilted hats of the 1930s evolved into a number of similar styles during the 1940s.

Wide brimmed hats in more masculine styles were also popular

Many 1940s hats had long bows or lace curtains that hung down the back of the head to the neck.
