Parcel Post Truck

Parcel Post Service began in 1913, at which time horse drawn wagons struggled to keep up with the increasing package deliveries. By the 1920s, the Post Office Department was standardizing their fleet. This early Parcel Post truck was most likely issued in the late 1910s. Eventually, the Parcel Post trucks took on a similar appearance to other mail trucks.
