Colonial Revival
The Colonial Revival porch gained popularity in the early years of the 20th century and was constructed frequently on houses of all styles from the 1900s to the 1920s and occasionally later. The Colonial Revival porch is easily identifiable. Simple, round columns with plain, simple capitals support a porch roof that occasionally has a small pediment over the entrance.
The image at the top is a simple, standard Colonial Revival, while the image at the bottom is an earlier, slightly more detailed example.
