Colonial Revival (12/1, 9/1, 8/1, 6/1, or 4/1 Sash)

During the Colonial Revival period of the early 20th century, the multi-paned windows of the early American Colonial architecture were revived. However, in the interest of having more light, the bottom sash often featured only a single pane. The number of panes in the top sash varies greatly on these houses, which were popular through the 1950s in Vermont.
