Full Pediment

The full pediment roof was popular during the Federal and Greek Revival periods, which span the late 18th century through the 1860s. The pediments were placed on either the gable ends or on a gable front. The full pediment was often used on Colonial Revival structures of the early 20th century, generally on the gable ends.
