Minimal Traditional

The Minimal Traditional style was popular in the 1950s, serving the large developments of affordable single-family homes. The Minimal Traditional is a simplified Tudor Revival style, usually featuring a small, front-facing gable and a mix of masonry veneer and clapboards. The Minimal Traditional lacks the detail of the Tudor Revival, and the front-facing gable has been scaled down with a shallower peak.

The image below is an excellent example of a 1950s Minimal Traditional. Notice the stone veneer and the small gable.
