Crown Point Light

The Crown Point Light was constructed in 1858. A Memorial Lighthouse was constructed in 1912. In 1926, the old tower was removed and replaced with a cylindrical tower of cut granite blocks surrounded by eight Doric columns and boasting bronze figures designed by renowned French sculptor, August Rodin. Crown Point Light lies within the boundaries of New York.
