Phillips 66
The Phillips Petroleum Company formed in 1917. In 1927, they market a new gasoline called Phillips 66. The name and logo were modeled after the famed Route 66. The logo seen below was used until 1959.

The company expanded in the northeastern United States in 1947. The more modern sign, seen below, was likely developed in 1959. This design is still seen today.

Around 1960, the Phillips 66 company developed this Exaggerated Modern station design.
